KPJ Tawakkal KL Specialist Hospital at Jalan Pahang Barat was designed as 180-bed hospital with provision for future expansion.

The building is composed in a podium and tower arrangement. The 5-storey podium which houses the Treatment, Diagnostic and Support Departments, 3 levels of parking, is a base for a 7-storey tower above it which houses the wards, administration departments and mechanical plant. 

The Treatment and Diagnostic Departments include Accident and Emergency, Imaging, Haemodialysis, ICU, HDU, Daycare, Operating Theatres and Outpatient Consultant Suites.
